Zalipie

Surprisingly, tourists are still something of a novelty in Zalipie, and are regarded with curiosity by locals, which is probably for the best.

Sharing scenes from the charming Polish town of Zalipie today for Art Thursday. (I thought this was the first time I featured a town, but there was that post about Paris... )

What an absolutely wonderful place! Such colors...it would be "uplifting" indeed to visit this town. But as the quotation suggests, lets hope it doesn't become overrun with tourists.

Just looking around Zalipie through your photos and the video is almost something that would work for Wellness Wednesday. :-)

How wonderful that they are passing this tradition on to the next generation as a way of living. Such a joyful looking town. Thoroughly enjoyed the video, and LOVED the chicken house with white flower decorations!
